Erika was born and raised in Seattle. Having grown up with real estate and mortgage professionals amongst her family, when the opportunity presented itself she jumped at the chance to take a new career path. She seamlessly made the move to the mortgage industry originating loans after nearly two decades in the restaurant industry as a Chef.

While to some, it may sound like a far stretch to compare the two professions she finds many similarities that flow through both industries. Erika will guide you through the home loan origination process while keeping your values in mind. By focusing on frequent and clear communication with borrowers she will be sure to deliver what is promised. Erika is able to create a culture based on excellence in service with the support of a seasoned team at Westwood Mortgage.

In her tenacious effort to show her daughters that hard work does pay off her family lives on a small homestead in Pierce County where they endeavor to live a sustainable lifestyle. She believes that there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the happiness that comes from building your dreams whether it’s farm to table meals or going from renting to buying your own home. When she’s not helping her borrowers achieve homeownership Erika can be found in her spare time milking the cow to make fresh cheeses, gardening and baking for her family.
